Additionally, small changes to meet Audit requirements and/or update some language have been identified.

The proposed changes include:

  • The elimination of the Vice President for Admissions and Enrollment, the Vice President for Records and Registration, and the Vice President for Legislation and Policy.
  • The addition of a Treasurer-Elect and Vice President for Programming position, with responsibilities identified.
  • The reclassification of the Secretary position into the Vice President for Communications and Secretary, with responsibilities identified.
  • The reclassification of the Vice President for Membership into the Vice President for Membership and Technology, with responsibilities identified.
  • The addition of the Legislative Affairs Committee as an official committee of the organization.
  • A change in the tax year from July 1 - June 30 to Jan 1 - December 31

A redlined copy of the proposed changes can be found here.

The changes may be amended at the annual meeting by a two-thirds vote of the voting members voting, provided that notice of the proposed amendment s has been sent to the members at least one month in advance of the meeting.
